Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician eager to develop skills in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across various project sites. This role offers hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in the electrical industry.
About The Role
- Assist with the installation of wiring systems, fixtures, and equipment, following safety and quality standards.
- Support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems to ensure smooth project operation.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, especially when working at heights or handling heavy items.
- Complete essential documentation, such as safety certificates and quality checks, with accuracy.
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and ready for each task.
Qualifications and Skills
- Solid English, maths, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in Electrotechnology.
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology is desirable but not essential.
- Manual driver’s license.
- Ability to differentiate between colours.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel if required.
- Basic physical fitness to meet the role's physical demands.
- Proficiency with phone-based apps for reporting, scheduling, and tracking.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability and commitment to safety awareness.
