Project Overview
Australian Electrical Industries were proud to be involved in the design, implementation and delivery of new electrical infrastructure upgrade works at Viewbank Secondary College.
Due to the planned future expansion of the College, AEI were engaged by Programmed Facilities Maintenance (Client) on behalf of the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), to help facilitate the electrical infrastructure upgrade of the site. This installation involved new electrical 1500KV sub-station, 800A site main switchboard, new electrical sub-mains and extensive civil works. With AEI extensive management experience and industry knowledge, we were able to provide a quality electrical design with sufficient capacity to meet the future growth of the school. Works were coordinated over weekends and school holiday periods to ensure minimal impact to the schools staff, students and curriculum.
As a part of these works, AEI were required to collaborate with all key stake holders including the relevant supply authority (Jemena), electrical inspectors, suppliers and school management where ongoing consultation was sought to ensure a successfully delivery of the project.
